So far, this album has "sold" over 3 million copies in Europe since its July 2010 release, though it was released as a covermount on 4 European publications: Daily Mirror/Record, Het Nieuwsblad, Rolling Stone Germany, and Courrier International. Prince also played 8 concerts in Europe in July. Purplelectricity is a video dance party and Canada’s only recurring Prince tribute party. The party is in its 7th year, and this is its 24th edition.
